Track Shuts Down at 12:45 for inspection
Racers must be present for car inspection
Race Starts at 1pm
-Running Voltage: 13.8 Volts
-Running Track: Scalextric
-Cars Allowed: Any SCX Nascar may be used ( CoT or Aero body, Pro or Non-Pro).
-Chassis: Gluing of motor pod is allowed. Tape may be applied to the chassis to limit motor pod travel. Light sanding may be done around motor pod to allow pod travel. A Pro SCX motor pod may not be cut into a non-Pro car. A car that came with a two-post pod must retain a two-post pod. A car that came with a 4 post pod must retain a 4 post pod configuration.
Chassis modifications are allowed for clearance of SCX Pro parts. Cars may not be lightened by cutting/sanding the chassis or the interior, any modifications done must be for clearance (crown gear clearance or wheel hub clearance) issues only. Enforcement of this rule will be at the discretion of race officials (for both regional qualifying races and for final race). Chassis may be clearanced slightly to allow body to float.
-Body: Custom Paint Allowed. Body mounting posts (the two posts in the front of the body and the single post in the rear of the body) may not be cut, shortened or otherwise modified in any way. Side body posts and axle retaining posts may be removed. Grille "insert" may be cut away/removed from chassis.
-Interior: Interior tray from the standard car may be used. Vacuum formed interior from the Pro Nascar may be used in any car (not just in Pro car). Cars must have (original and unmodified) full window glass. The wing must be there at the start of the race, racers will not be penalized if the wing breaks off during competition.
-Gears: 9 tooth SCX Pinion Only. SCX stock plastic crown gears or Pro crown gears only allowed.
-Bushings: Axle and bushing mounts may not be altered in any way. Ball bearings are not allowed.
-Wheels/Axle: Wheels allowed are the SCX Nascar standard plastic wheel or the SCX Pro Nascar wheel. SCX Axles Only.
-Tires: Only SCX "Type 052" tires are allowed on the FRONT. Only Super Tires 1601 May Be Used for the Rear. No Treatments or cleaning chemicals allowed on tires. Tires that are viewed to be "Gooey," "Oily," or "Wet" in any way will not be allowed. Front Tires May be Sanded. Tires may not project beyond body when car is at rest on level track, viewed from directly above.
-Electrical: RX-42B. Racers must provide their own motor. No Com Drops, VooDoo Juice, or any similar chemicals are allowed to be used at any time in the past within your motor. Only Lightweight Oil may be used. Any Motor Suspect of "Juicing" will be disqualified from the race. Electronics, noise suppressor on the motor/chassis may be removed or may be intact. WE HAVE NO 42B's IN THE STORE RIGHT NOW
-Magnet: No Magnets.
-Weight: Weight may be added, weight minimum is 97 grams. ALL weight must be fully contained inside the body or magnet holder. Weight must be glued or self-adhesive used to prevent it from coming loose. Weight must be some type of metal. Modeling clay or similar substance is not allowed.
-Vehicle Ground Clearance: .040"
-Guide Blade: Guide flag may be collared or glued to limit sideways play. Manner of collaring or gluing the guide is up to the racer. Non-SCX parts may be used to do this as long as the stock guide is retained. A Pro guide may not be cut into the Non-Pro chassis. Braids are allowed to be re-wrapped around the guide. Any brand of braid is allowed. Wires may be soldered in car to conduct power. Any brand of wires is allowed. If a racer is going to solder in wires that racer is responsible to bring a soldering iron to accomplish this. No Chemicals may be used on the braids. Braids that are viewed to be "Gooey," "Oily," or "Wet" in any way will not be allowed.

Race Format for Regional:
Tech inspection begins at 12:45 when the track is shut down. Car will be handed to the inspector open for viewing with screwdriver in hand to close the car. Upon passing inspection, the car will be closed in front of inspector, and impounded. Car can not be accessed from this point on.
Racers will be entered into the computer and positions randomized. Please see the House Rules for more information about this.
Racers will only be able to handle their cars during the race for pit stops under Green. NO TIRE CLEANING WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE RACE OR BETWEEN SEGMENTS FOR ANY REASON. Marshals will change lanes and tape colors in-between segments. Racers must marshal for at least 6 segments while not racing. Failure to do so will result in a 1 lap penalty per segment missed.
Only Marshals may call "Track." Racers are only permitted to call their lane color during a de-slot. If more then 2 cars de-slot in front of a single marshal, an automatic "track" call is issued.
No Cell Phones or Personal Electronic Devices must be shut off if you are marshaling or racing.
Car break downs may be fixed under green only. Cars may be brought back to the "Pits" with marshal supervision only.
Racers must call "PIT" before removing their car from the track.
Racers are not permitted to block the line of sight of any other racer.
Race Data is displayed on the Screens and Announced verbally throughout the race. Please do not request information from the race official during the race or in-between segments.
Please Be Prepared for your segment when you are told you are "On Deck." Racers not present for their segment will have the segment start without you.
Any Throttle is permitted (No voltage boosting circuits allowed). Track is Equipped with Automatic Breaking during Pauses and End of Segments.
